Disinfectant Performance
This product is a broad-spectrum disinfectant aerosol and deodorizer for hard, non-porous environmental surfaces.
- Tuberculocidal: Effective against Mycobacterium tuberculosis var. bovis in 10 minutes at 20°C on pre-cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces.
- Disinfects in 10 minutes (with 5% blood serum present) against:
- Viruses: HIV-1, Herpes Simplex Virus Type II (ATCC VR-734), Influenza Virus A2/Hong Kong (ATCC VR-544)
- Bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538), MRSA (ATCC 33592), Salmonella enterica (ATCC 10708)
- Fungi: Athlete’s Foot Fungus (Trichophyton mentagrophytes, ATCC 9533)
Mold and Mildew Control
Controls mold and mildew and the odors they cause on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces.
- Mold and mildew organism: Aspergillus niger (ATCC 6275)
- To control mold and mildew, spray until thoroughly wet and let air dry. Repeat weekly or when growth appears.
Where to Use
For use in hospitals and other medical, industrial, institutional, commercial, and residential facilities. Use on hard, non-porous surfaces such as:
- metal and stainless steel
- glazed porcelain and glazed ceramic tile
- plastics
- bathroom fixtures
- empty garbage cans and diaper pails
- furniture in sick rooms and nurseries
- fishing and sports equipment (including skate and bowling shoes)
Directions for Use
- Shake occasionally during use. Hold container upright.
- Remove heavy soil and clean surfaces before disinfecting.
- Spray from 6 to 8 inches away until the surface is thoroughly wet.
- Contact time: Keep the surface wet for 10 minutes, then wipe if needed.
- For tuberculocidal use, allow the surface to remain undisturbed for at least 10 minutes at 20°C before wiping.
- Not for use on critical or semi-critical medical device surfaces.
HIV-1 Guidance for Previously Soiled Surfaces
Kills HIV-1 on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces previously soiled with blood or body fluids in settings where such soiling may occur.
For surfaces soiled with blood or body fluids:
- Wear appropriate protective equipment (gloves, gowns, masks, eye coverings).
- Thoroughly clean blood and body fluids from surfaces before disinfecting.
- Dispose of infectious materials according to federal, state, and local requirements.
